About Dr Joy
Founded by Dr Joy, our clinic brings nearly two decades of experience in aesthetic medicine to the people of Port Elizabeth.
After qualifying with an MBChB from UCT in 1994, Dr Joy spent seven years working in intensive care medicine. As her family grew, she sought a way to combine medical practice with more balance and meaning—leading her to complete an Honours in Women’s Health through Stellenbosch University.
Her journey into aesthetic medicine began in 2005 through hands-on work in reconstructive plastic surgery, where she developed in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and function. Since then, she has completed numerous advanced aesthetic medicine courses, workshops, and conferences—ensuring that her treatments are always safe, effective, and aligned with the latest science.
